Accountant

On behalf of our client, a real estate company, we are looking for an Accountant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Verifies and records the invoices from suppliers.
  • Records and checks the company bank statements.
  • Monitors emails related to the accounting department.
  • Directly communicates and pays the suppliers and service providers as required.
  • Checks all the bank balances on a daily basis.
  • Conducts regular bank reconciliation.
  • Records and filing cash transactions.
  • Collects all the documents for VAT submission.
  • Provides with all kinds of reports as per management requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a related field with work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Excel software.
  • Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software; strong typing skills.
  • Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
  • Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
  • Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
