On behalf of our client, a pioneering payment-network provider, we are looking for an Accountant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate financial records, processing and reconciling daily transactions
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliations and manages accounts payable/receivable
- Handles payroll, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Generates and analyzes financial reports, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Assists in preparing financial statements, budgets, and supporting annual audits
- Monitors financial data to identify discrepancies and recommends process improvements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Has a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations
- Experience in the financial services industry will be considered an advantage
- Is proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in Greek and English, in both verbal and written form
