Accounting Officer

On behalf of our client, a Customer Support and Services company, we are looking for an Accounting Officer, to be based in their offices in Limassol

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Records and files accounting transactions for clients
  • Prepares monthly payroll and ensures accuracy in financial processes
  • Handles Tax/SIC/VAT registration forms, VAT, and VIES returns
  • Performs bank reconciliations and oversees accounts payables/receivables
  • Issues sales invoices, receipts, and manages client correspondence
  • Provides employee-related information to the accounting department
  • Maintains internal records ensuring they are always updated
  • Assists with filing of data, documents / relevant forms and applications with public authorities
  • Any other related duties as requested by the management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or other related fields
  • Holder of LCCI Qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek language
  • 2 years of proven working experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
  • Proficient in financial statement preparation and payroll management
  • MS Office and Computer literacy
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
