Assistant Chief Accountant

On behalf of our client, a world-class law firm, we are looking for an Assistant Chief Accountant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Requirements

• Leads a team of accountants and overviews all the client Accounting services
• Prepares the accounting records and the book-keeping of the clients in accordance with international financial reporting standards
• Responsible for clients’ payroll on a monthly basis
• Handles the unaudited financial statements with Caseware
• Liaises with the clients, their lawyers, and auditors to meet their needs and requirements on a continuous basis

Main Requirements

• Qualified ACA or ACCA
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years of previous work experience in a similar position
• Familiarity with Income Tax
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language
• Strong computer literacy and excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, professional discipline and willingness to assume responsibility
• Knowledge of Caseware software
• Previous knowledge of software Intellisoft will be considered an advantage
