On behalf of our client, a leading firm of accountants and management consultants, we are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to be based in their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertakes and manages portfolio for audit work with full ownership and independency
- Participates in various stages of audits, analytical reviews, budgeting, planning, working papers, correspondence, financial statement preparation, disclosures and assist in administrative functions as assigned
- Assigns work as appropriate
- Monitors and provides feedback on the job and report back to the director
- Reviews the work of senior and junior staff and provides constructive and detail review points
- Mentors, trains, supports and supervises senior and junior staff, provides feedback on the spot
- Effective communication with clients and associates
- Identifies any potential problems or opportunities for improvement in client’s systems, procedures or operations and makes suggestions
- Involve in company’s special projects
Job Requirements
- University degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or other related field (University of Cyprus graduates with at least 7.50/10, UK University graduates with at least 2:1 or other Universities graduates with at least 3.33)
- ACCA/ACA qualified
- Experience: at least 8+ years
- Excellent command of Greek and English (both verbal and written)
- Computer literate/Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent knowledge of audit program/software
- Excellent communication and team work skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent Training/mentoring/coaching skills
- Excellent Management and leadership skills
- Up-to-date in all Audit, IFRS, software and other legislative or other related issues
