On behalf of our client, a private international school, we are looking for an enthusiastic Biology Teacher to be based at their school in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Teaches Biology to middle and high school students, both in individual and group formats
- Supports students across a range of levels – from foundational knowledge to exam preparation for IGCSE and A-level
- Designs lessons in line with Cambridge standards and creates an inspiring, inquiry-based learning environment
- Monitors student progress, providing meaningful feedback, and addressing learning gaps
- Participates in team meetings and contributes to the development of educational programs.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Biology or related field
- Teaching experience in international schools (Cambridge system preferred)
- Ability to explain complex biological concepts clearly and engagingly
- Flexibility and ability to work with students at various levels of English proficiency
- Fluent/advanced English + good Russian
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and commitment to quality education
- Genuine passion for biology, strong communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development
