Business Development Officer

On behalf of our client, a retail broker on a mission to deliver a streamlined trading experience, we are looking for a Business Development Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and researches target markets, assesses market potential, and devises effective strategies to penetrate new markets.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Department to develop targeted marketing campaigns, materials, and promotions tailored to specific regions.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with introducers, brokers, and other strategic partners in target markets to generate qualified leads and referrals.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for introducers, addressing their inquiries, providing necessary support, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Conducts market analysis, monitors industry trends, and keeps abreast of competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Attends industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and build a strong professional network.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to potential clients and introducers.
  • Tracks and reports on business development activities, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
  • Provides feedback and insights to the marketing and product development teams regarding market trends, client preferences, and competitor analysis.

Job Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the Forex industry or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Forex market, trading instruments, and the financial services industry.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral plus one other language according to the regions of responsibility (Arabic, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai or other Asian language).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet business development targets.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and navigate cultural differences in target markets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales management tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required to attend meetings, conferences, and industry events.
