Client Support Officer

On behalf of our client, a retail broker on a mission to deliver a streamlined trading experience, we are looking for a Client Support Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides exceptional customer service to clients via various communication channels(email, phone, chat etc) 
  • Ensures accurate and up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and market trends to provide informed assistance 
  • Handles account maintenance tasks, including updating client information, margin requirements, and leverage settings.
  • Responsible for client deposits, withdrawals, and transaction processing to be accurate and efficient.
  • Collaborates with internal departments to resolve account-related issues
  • Maintains accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and account details in the company’s CRM and Back Office systems. 
  • Educates clients about forex trading basics, risk management, and effective use of trading tools
  • Creates and updates educational materials, FAQs, and guides to assist clines in understanding trading concepts and platform functionalities. 
  • Investigates and troubleshoot complex issues by liaising with relevant departments, such as IT, compliance, and finance
  • Escalates critical matters to higher management when necessary, providing comprehensive information for a swift resolution 
  • Ensures adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and data protection protocols when handling client information and transactions
  • Collaborates effectively with the customer support team, back office team, compliance team, and other departments to maintain a cohesive and customer-centric approach 

Job Requirements: 

  • University degree in finance, business, economics, and other related field
  • Solid understanding of Forex trading operations
  • Previous experience in customer support/or back office operations within the forex or financial services industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, trading platforms
  • Proficient in using relevant software including accounting software, and MS Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in shifts.
