On behalf of our client, a specialized IT-consulting firm, we are looking for a Data Analyst (SAS Platform) to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes, processes, and models large datasets using the SAS platform to extract actionable insights
- Develops and maintains SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Performs data validation, quality checks, and ensures the accuracy of reports and analysis
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored insights
- Creates dashboards, visualizations, and reports that effectively communicate key trends and insights
- Assists in identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and supports the development of metrics to measure business performance
- Participates in data-driven projects, from requirement gathering to implementation, ensuring best practices in data management and analytics
- Provides ad-hoc analysis as needed to support various departments within the organization
- Ensures compliance with data governance standards and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data
- Stays updated on industry trends and best practices related to data analysis and the SAS platform
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, preferably with extensive experience in SAS (SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Base, SAS Macros, etc.)
- Proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and reporting using SAS tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide meaningful insights
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL) and other statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of data governance and compliance standards
