Data Analyst (SAS Platform)

On behalf of our client, a specialized IT-consulting firm, we are looking for a Data Analyst (SAS Platform) to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, processes, and models large datasets using the SAS platform to extract actionable insights
  • Develops and maintains SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
  • Performs data validation, quality checks, and ensures the accuracy of reports and analysis
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored insights
  • Creates dashboards, visualizations, and reports that effectively communicate key trends and insights
  • Assists in identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and supports the development of metrics to measure business performance
  • Participates in data-driven projects, from requirement gathering to implementation, ensuring best practices in data management and analytics
  • Provides ad-hoc analysis as needed to support various departments within the organization
  • Ensures compliance with data governance standards and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data
  • Stays updated on industry trends and best practices related to data analysis and the SAS platform

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, preferably with extensive experience in SAS (SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Base, SAS Macros, etc.)
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and reporting using SAS tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide meaningful insights
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL) and other statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of data governance and compliance standards
