DevOps Engineer

On behalf of our Client, a leading forex company, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Automates the process of provisioning, installing, configuring and monitoring of systems in development, test and production environments
• Takes ownership of all environments ensuring software versioning is correct across all
  areas
• Configurates new servers to agreed standards
• Designs and implements the automation processes in relation to configuration change
• Manages and troubleshoots environment issues as required
• Ensures environment stability and availability 
• Works with other teams regarding process automation for consistent environmental   provisioning and change  
• Manages the change and release process; identifies and introduces improvements
• Facilitates CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings and ensures that all risks and
  dependencies in the release cycle are identified
• Improves the software release cycle times and removes blockers by developing systems’ upgrades                                                                                                

Main Requirements

• Preferably a minimum 2-3 years working experience in a DevOps position or similar
• Experience working with both Windows and Linux servers; comfortable using the terminal would be beneficial
• Experience configuring windows services, websites and web services in Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Teamwork and willingness to ensure results are achieved
