Embedded Software Researcher

On behalf of our Client, an innovative design and manufacturing company, we are looking for an Embedded Software Researcher to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests and implements firmware & hardware for our products using mostly ESP32 microprocessor
• Develops the entire life cycle of the product, from definition to delivery and ongoing product support
• Works together with software and mechanical engineers to define and maintain product requirements throughout the design stage
• Responsible to source hardware components, build prototypes and supervise outsourced manufacturing

Job Requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or other related fields 
• Proficient in C or C++ programming with work experience of at least 3 years
• Excellent knowledge of microcontroller-specific communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI)
• Knowledge and experience with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (Desirable)
• Familiar with ESP32 and Cortex-M series microcontrollers (Desirable)
• Ability to use any lab equipment required to develop and debug prototypes
• Knowledge of PCB design and manufacturing (Desirable)
• Fluent in English language (Verbal & Written)
