On behalf of our client, a software developer and global leader in exam certification management, we are looking for an English Speaking Examiner to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts online spoken interviews according to the Interlocutor Framework and LanguageCert regulations
- Manages the interaction in the exam and facilitates the candidate’s performance, ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Ensures standardization and consistency of interlocution
- Assesses the candidate’s performance fairly and consistently and in accordance with LanguageCert’s stringent assessment criteria and processes
- Performs the required procedures to authenticate the candidate’s identity and safeguard exam integrity in accordance with the company’s standards, regulations and processes
- Implements troubleshooting protocols for technical support. Ensure efficient operation of ICT systems and applications
- Attends LanguageCert’s trainings and standardization sessions as required
- Responds positively to guidance and advice and implement improvements where needed
- Observes the need for confidentiality of examination material and security at all times
- Provides feedback on assessment material, as required
- Carries out any reasonably allocated duties and tasks, relevant to the role and the scope of activities by applying a flexible & adaptable customer centric approach to serve the company’s multinational presence and global operations across multiple time zones
- Offer the services set out above within the specified times and in accordance with LanguageCert’s procedures
- Execute a range of reasonable additional tasks and involve in activities as assigned by their supervisor

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English Language or any related field
- Familiarity with the levels of the Common European Framework (CEFR) and working knowledge on it will be considered an advantage
- Computer literate
- Exceptional command of the English language
- Prioritisation skills and ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously
- Prior working experience in the certification of persons and/or training and exam fields is desirable
- Availability for 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
