On behalf of our client, a paint and building materials manufacturer, we are looking for a Factory Operations Supervisor to be based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises the production process and ensures compliance with the production plan.
- Guides, organizes, and supports production teams.
- Ensures the proper maintenance of mechanical equipment and the cleanliness of the factory facilities on an ongoing basis.
- Implements and monitors workplace safety and health procedures.
- Identifies deviations and proposes improvement measures to enhance productivity and quality.
- Trains current and new staff on factory processes and safety standards.
- Coordinates studies to optimize existing products and production methods, develop new products, and reduce production costs.
- Ensures adherence to the company’s quality control system (ISO 9001:2015) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015 and EMAS).
- Collaborates with the Purchasing Director to ensure the smooth supply of raw materials and packaging materials for seamless production processes.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Production Management, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in a similar supervisory position with the ability to oversee teams.
- Familiar with and understand quality and safety standards (ISO).
- Possess integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good command of both the Greek and English languages.
- Proficient in using computers and ERP software.
