Financial Manager

On behalf of our client, an established group of companies in real estate advisory and asset management, we are looking for a Financial Manager to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting teams.
  • Offers strategic recommendations to the General Manager, the Board, and executive teams.
  • Manages the processes for financial forecasting and budgets.
  • Advises on long-term business and financial plans and strategies for success in various markets and sectors.
  • Establishes and develops strong relations with senior leaders, partners, and stakeholders across regions and functions.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align strategic plans and quarterly forecasts.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and local or international guidelines and regulations.
  • Oversees all aspects of bookkeeping and accounting tasks and deliverables.
  • Prepares profitability analyses and detailed cash flow budgets for internal and external reviews and audits.
  • Delivers financial presentations and statements for monthly meetings with clients and customers.
  • Participates in negotiations and contractual discussions with clients and external partners or vendors.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes and systems, enhancing operational controls and efficiencies across departments and divisions.
  • Ensures adherence to internal controls and initiates improvements to strengthen audit procedures and safeguards.
  • Coordinates business needs with departments such as finance, IT, and corporate services.
  • Partners with Business Development teams to create financial models and support business cases.

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related discipline. 
  • Holder of ACCA or other similar qualification will be considered as an advantage. 
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar position. 
  • Working experience in the Asset management/Real Estate Advisory business will be considered as an advantage. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (written and spoken). 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills.
