Head of Marketing

On behalf of our client, a leading hotel group, we are looking for a Head of Marketing to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing Administration:

  • Participates in the development and execution of campaigns.
  • Coordinates and monitors representation in B2B programs and marketing channels.
  • Manages distribution and monitoring of representation guidelines and specifications.
  • Administers online hotel reviews and guest experience websites.
  • Develops and administers targeted annual B2B marketing plans.
  • Monitors privacy policy, terms of use, and other legal disclaimers across all marketing channels.

Hospitality Loyalty Program:

  • Develops, coordinates, and monitors marketing plans for the promotion of the Hospitality Loyalty Club.
  • Executes direct marketing communication activities for the Hospitality Loyalty Club.
  • Administers and monitors the authorized loyalty program terms, policies, or any other applicable legal disclaimer.

Newsletter, Company Magazine, and Press Releases:

  • Develops, executes, and monitors marketing plans for the publication and promotion of the company newsletter, magazine, and press releases.
  • Identifies, collects, and maintains a database of news updates, important topics, latest events, and announcements.

Brand Development:

  • Assists in preparing, executing, coordinating, and monitoring annual brand development plans.
  • Collaborates with the Head of Content to develop brand collaterals, assets, and content.
  • Assists in conducting annual brand research studies.
  • Applies data analytics and conducts in-depth market research for industry best practices and forward-looking trends.
  • Conducts a direct competition analysis.

Online Communities:

  • Develops, executes, and monitors marketing plans for the development and growth of online communities.
  • Coordinates and monitors internal teams and external associates such as online communities influencers, forum organizers, and social network administrators.
  • Monitors daily all Social Media posts/queries/comments.
  • Collaborates with the Head of Content to develop content for all social media platforms.

Other duties:

  • Provides regular work updates and communicates progress status for assigned work.
  • Works closely with the Marketing Manager to prepare annual budgets and apply budget control procedures.
  • Ensures the implementation of the company confidentiality policies and guidelines.
  • Assists and supports operations by performing work that might be beyond the scope of the role.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, MBA or related fields. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant positions.
  • Proven experience in project management of complex projects 
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (both verbal and written).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong analytic skills and numeracy.
