Head of SEO

On behalf of our client, a leading forex company, we are looking for a Head of SEO to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements comprehensive SEO strategies to increase the company’s search engine results and overall digital presence
  • Leads and manages the SEO team, setting clear objectives, and continuously evaluating and adjusting strategies to maximize effectiveness
  • Conducts thorough keyword research relevant to the financial market to capture traffic for key search terms
  • Optimizes website content, landing pages, and paid search copy to improve SERP rankings and user experience
  • Collaborates with content creators to ensure all online content is optimized for SEO without compromising content quality
  • Analyzes and leverages analytics tools to gauge the success of SEO strategies, making data-driven decisions to refine and pivot strategies where necessary
  • Stays updated with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and technologies, especially those relevant to the financial sector
  • Collaborates with other department heads to integrate SEO with overall marketing and business strategies
  • Manages and maintains the SEO budget, ensuring effective resource allocation
  • Prepares and presents regular reports on SEO progress and initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of SEO experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of current SEO practices, digital marketing tools, and platforms, including Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful SEO strategies that have led to measurable improvements in traffic and revenue
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
