HR & Payroll Software Consultant

On behalf of our client, a leading consulting, technology and outsourcing services company, we are looking for a HR & Payroll Software Consultant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes business requirements and converts them into tailored solutions within the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll systems.
  • Configures and supports various SAP HCM modules, including:
    • Organizational Management
    • Personnel Administration
    • Time Management
    • Payroll (with a focus on international schemas).
  • Manages the end-to-end payroll process, covering:
    • Pre-payroll preparations.
    • Post-payroll activities.
    • Statutory reporting.
    • Retroactive accounting.
  • Collaborates with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data flows accurately and complies with legal and tax requirements.
  • Develops and executes test plans, conducts User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provides support during go-live activities.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves SAP HCM and payroll-related issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepares functional specifications for custom developments and system enhancements.
  • Works closely with ABAP developers, integration teams, and external providers, such as banks and tax authorities, to implement and maintain effective solutions.
  • Provides training, documentation, and ongoing support for HR and payroll system users to ensure efficient system usage.

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM and Payroll configuration and support, or a similar solution 
  • Strong functional knowledge of payroll rules, schemas, and wage types 
  • Experience with internal payroll configurations  
  • Ability to write and interpret functional specifications and work with technical teams
