International Business Development Manager

On behalf of our client, a pioneer in remote satellite sensing, we are looking for an International Business Development Manager to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conducts market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs
  • Prepares and delivers compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Negotiates contracts and closes deals to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Stays up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
  • Attends industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company’s presence

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in technical sales or a related field
  • Fluency in English, in both verbal and written form
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong understanding of the nuances of working in a small company environment
  • Self-motivated with a high level of tenacity and drive to succeed
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts and solutions, particularly in satellite remote sensing and geotechnical engineering
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools will be considered an advantage
