On behalf of our client, a pioneer in remote satellite sensing, we are looking for an International Business Development Manager to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conducts market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs
- Prepares and delivers compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiates contracts and closes deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Collaborates with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
- Stays up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
- Attends industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company’s presence
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in technical sales or a related field
- Fluency in English, in both verbal and written form
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of the nuances of working in a small company environment
- Self-motivated with a high level of tenacity and drive to succeed
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts and solutions, particularly in satellite remote sensing and geotechnical engineering
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools will be considered an advantage
