IT Business Development Manager

On behalf of our client, a specialized IT-consulting firm, we are looking for an IT Business Development Manager to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Researches and connects with potential clients, including municipalities, malls, real estate, and businesses
  • Develops strategies to grow the company in the IoT and smart parking market
  • Engages decision-makers, understands their needs, and presents solutions
  • Builds long-term client relationships for repeat business
  • Negotiates contracts and closes deals to meet sales targets
  • Delivers impactful sales presentations and simplifies technical concepts
  • Works with clients and technical teams to design custom solutions
  • Creates and presents proposals with architecture, pricing, and timelines
  • Leads pilot projects and gathers client feedback for improvements
  • Forms partnerships with vendors, businesses, and municipalities
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to develop market strategies
  • Provides product teams with market insights for new features
  • Prepares sales reports to track progress and improve performance
  • Travels across Europe and the Middle East to expand business

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or presales, preferably within the IT, smart parking, or smart city solutions space
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of IoT technologies, smart parking solutions, parking management software, and hardware (sensors, cameras, etc.)
  • Experience in preparing technical proposals and delivering PoC projects
  • Experience working in a joint venture or partnership model is a plus
  • Willingness to collaborate with technical and business teams from different geographical locations (EU, Midle East, Cyprus).
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek is a plus
