Java Software Developer

On behalf of our Client, a global leader in online, dynamic verification of identity and financial transactions via regulated e-payment instrument authentication, we are looking for a Java Software Developer to be based at their office in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Defines system design by analyzing business requirements with stakeholders and peers 
• Conducts research and analysis to support solution design
• Observes, tests, debugs, and corrects faults in software 
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of data for new or existing systems
• Provides system support to clients
• Develops and produces documentation, including technical specifications, unit tests and API’s
• Understands and incorporates best industry security standards (such as OWASP) in the design and code of software that is used
• Provides guidance to developers and participates in code reviews
• Maintains security knowledge by attending an educational security workshop at least once a year

Job Requirements

• Degree Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience of hands-on software development
• Minimum 3 years of current financial and/or mission critical systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language
• Strong coding skills in Java
