Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant

On behalf of our client, an international company which provides a wide range of fiduciary services, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

• Takes control of the Book-keeping and accounting
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of VAT and VIES declarations 
• Assists the preparation of Payroll and Social Insurances 
• Prepares the management accounts and financial statements 
• Liaises the internal and external stakeholders 
• Manages with tax matters and other administrative duties

Job Requirements 

• Qualification or degree in accounting 
• Prior experience in Cyprus, preferably in accounting, audit, fiduciary, or tax firm will be considered an advantage 
• Proficient knowledge of English and Greek language. Other languages will be considered an advantage (Polish and Russian) 
• Knowledge of accounting software will be considered an advantage 
• Proactive, professional, client service orientated, with good organizational skills
• Knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
