On behalf of our client, a pioneer in remote satellite sensing, we are looking for a Junior Business Development Specialist to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities to drive company growth
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business
- Conducts market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs
- Prepares and delivers compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiates contracts and closes deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Collaborates with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
- Stays up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
- Attends industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company’s presence
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field will be considered an advantage
- Fluency in English, in both verbal and written form
- Demonstrated achievement through high-performance behaviours, in any transferable skill, experience, or attribute
- Self-motivated with a high level of tenacity and drive to succeed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts and solutions
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools will be considered an advantage
