Junior Business Development Specialist

On behalf of our client, a pioneer in remote satellite sensing, we are looking for a Junior Business Development Specialist to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities to drive company growth
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business
  • Conducts market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs
  • Prepares and delivers compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Negotiates contracts and closes deals to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Stays up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
  • Attends industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company’s presence

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field will be considered an advantage
  • Fluency in English, in both verbal and written form
  • Demonstrated achievement through high-performance behaviours, in any transferable skill, experience, or attribute
  • Self-motivated with a high level of tenacity and drive to succeed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts and solutions
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools will be considered an advantage
