On behalf of our client, a specialized IT-consulting firm, we are looking for a Junior Consultant to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with municipalities in Nicosia and surrounding regions to explore potential for Smart City project growth and expansion
- Supports the Project Manager in engaging with public sector stakeholders, identifying requirements, and aligning priorities
- Collects, documents, and analyses information on municipal needs and opportunities for digital transformation
- Assists and prepares presentations, reports, and briefing documents for internal and client use
- Tracks opportunities related to public tenders and local government projects, ensures timely reporting
- Facilitates communication between municipalities, technical teams, and project management
- Monitors progress and escalate risks or issues to the Project Manager as required
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of professional experience (internships included) in consulting, public sector projects, or municipal coordination
- Familiarity with public sector procedures / tenders is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently, while reporting regularly to the Project Manager
- Experience working with municipalities or public sector stakeholders
- Knowledge of EU or national tendering procedures
- Interest in smart city technologies, digital transformation, or urban development
