On behalf of our client, an experienced software solutions company, we are looking for a Junior Database Administrator to be based at their offices in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learns and assists in the management of PostgreSQL databases
- Works closely with the senior database administrators to ensure the optimal performance and security of the databases
- Assists in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
- Participates in database design and optimization activities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand and address data-related needs
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science/ IT or a related field
- 0-2 years of professional experience in database management.
- Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
