On behalf of our client, a leading forex company, we are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deploys, automates, maintains, and manages production systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security
- Builds, releases, and manages production systems
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platforms and application domains
- Designs and implements the automation processes in relation to configuration change
- Develops and enables continuous integration/continuous deployment for automation system components
- Builds tools that streamline development and deployment
- Develops monitoring and alerting, both technically and culturally
- Builds and maintains highly available distributed applications
- Works with diverse stacks, including both state-full and stateless services
Job Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or in any other related field
- Previous experience in a relevant position will be considered as an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Linux O/S is mandatory
- Excellent command of the English language
- Certificate in a related field position will be considered as an advantage
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
