On behalf of our client, a company that provides comprehensive CFD trading services, we are looking for a Junior Operational Risk Management & Reporting Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains the department’s trading systems and tools.
- Oversees and hedges company-level exposures in accordance with established rules and guidelines.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure trading systems remain fully operational.
- Tracks market and economic developments to stay informed.
- Conducts routine monitoring tasks to assess system performance and optimize system parameters.
- Coordinates with the technical team regarding the maintenance and enhancement of trading and monitoring systems.
- Adheres to the company’s operational procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitors and analyzes clients’ trading activities and exposures.
- Provides internal support to the client-facing team for trading-related inquiries.
- Communicates with counterparties as necessary.
- Monitors and evaluates the company’s risk management systems.
- Keeps prices updated for currencies, commodities, and CFDs on a constant basis.
- Generates reports and provides support to colleagues in other departments.
Job Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or any other relevant field
- CySEC certification
- Experience in the financial industry required.
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Organised and methodical personality
- High attention to detail
