On behalf of our client, a leading telecoms solutions provider we are looking for a Junior Penetration Tester to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess and exploit systems with real world scenarios focusing on existing vulnerabilities or misconfigurations within my company’s or client’s system.
- Constructs detailed reports addressing every security issue found and explaining the issue in detail for the client to understand fully.
- Prepares and launch of vulnerability analysis using manual and automatic tools.
- Collaborates with clients for issues that might not have a fix to find a workaround and help them complete the remediation phase.
Main Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- OSCP, CPTS, CBBH, LPT or similar certification
- Proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Proficiency with penetration testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and web application security.
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages to create custom testing tools or automate processes.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
