On behalf of our client, an energy systems provider, we are looking for a Junior Project Development Engineer, to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes current market trends to support the design and development of new products and services for the company
- Continuously monitors existing and evolving legislative and regulatory frameworks in the energy sector, as well as government grant schemes
- Identifies and communicates with suppliers to discover new products and services
- Researches new and emerging technologies in the energy sector
- Ensures that all new products and services comply with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and meet necessary quality and safety standards
- Carries out financial and technical analysis of projects/products/services in the energy sector (sizing, feasibility study, cost-benefit analysis)
- Contributes to the preparation of tenders (specifications, costing, studies)
- Designs and develops tools and methodologies to improve the efficiency of the company’s departments
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience in the energy sector will be considered an advantage
- Knowledge of Python and/or VBA programming will be considered an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages
- Demonstrates ability in data analysis and visualization
- Applies a creative and insightful approach to thinking
- Possesses strong organizational and communication skills
- Shows effective problem-solving abilities
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
