Junior QA Engineer

On behalf of our Client, a global leader in online, dynamic verification of identity and financial transactions via regulated e-payment instrument authentication, we are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates tests to identify software problems
• Analyses bugs and errors found during tests
• Recommends improvements in software to enhance user experience
• Motivates the development process for efficiency and performance
• Develops and executes manual and automated test cases to increase regression coverage as well as new functionality testing
• Works together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs
• Maintains updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
• Researches and compares similar competitor products
• Willing to provide technical support on a weekly rotation between team members

Job Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Familiar with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and basic Java programming
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
