On behalf of our client, an established group of companies in real estate advisory and asset management, we are looking for an Junior Web Developer to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework
- Writes clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participates in all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoots and debugs issues in the production environment
- Collaborates with other team members to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
- Conducts code reviews and provides feedback to other team members
- Contributes to the development of technical documentation
- Keeps up to date with the latest web technologies and programming languages
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of PHP and experience with Laravel framework
- Strong understanding of VueJS JavaScript framework
- Solid understanding of HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
- Familiarity with version control tools, such as Git
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly
