Corporate Lawyer

On behalf of our client, a law firm providing a comprehensive range of legal services to local and international clients, we are looking for a Corporate Lawyer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carries out due diligence reviews for the purposes of identifying potential legal risks and liabilities associated with the relevant transactions and advises clients on risk mitigation strategies
  • Reviews and/ or drafts legal documents related to transactions such as share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, subscription agreements, loan agreements, security documents etc.
  • Prepares and issues opinions on finance and other transactions 
  • Communicates with clients on an ongoing basis, discussing the progress of the transactions and various issues that may develop during the course thereof
  • Reviews and/or drafts of transactions documents, contracts, and agreements in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Represents the client’s interests in negotiations in all matters connected to transactions
  • Prepares documentation for local mergers, cross border mergers, restructuring schemes of groups of companies
  • Gives advice to insurance, banking and investment firms

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Law 
  • Qualified lawyer by the Cyprus Bar Association 
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience practicing law in Cyprus or any other jurisdiction 
  • Specific corporate and commercial experience is ideal for the successful candidate 
  • Proficient in Greek and English
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
