Logistics/Warehouse Manager

On behalf of our client, a leading importing and distributing company of DIY products , we are looking for a Logistics/Warehouse Manager to be based at their shops in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of the inventory and warehouse management departments so that all tasks are carried out with accuracy, quality, and within the correct time frames.
  • Performs strategic planning of the warehouse operation procedures regarding the storage of products and replenishment.
  • Maintains an efficient operation of warehouse management systems.
  • Creates and monitors the statements and performance metrics for the inventory and warehouse management departments.
  • Effectively manages and develops warehouse personnel.
  • Ensures that the work environment is appropriate for the smooth operation of the warehouse.
  • Communicates with staff regarding the company’s strategic goals and the role played by the warehouse department in achieving them.
  • Provides ongoing support and feedback to warehouse staff members and resolves any issues that may arise in the work environment.
  • Motivates the staff members to improve their performance.
  • Plans and monitors the work schedule of the team and their annual leaves.
  • Monitors the warehouse expenses (e.g., overtimes).
  • Implements and monitors the company’s policies and procedures related to health and safety in the work environment, informing the company’s health and safety officer about problems and improvements identified.
  • Keeps the company’s health and safety officer informed in case of accidents or illnesses of the warehouse personnel related to their work.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the superior authority.

Main Requirements

  • University degree in Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Organizational, communicational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Very good knowledge of ERP and WMS systems.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively handle multiple issues simultaneously.
