Maintenance Technician

On behalf of our client, a broad-spectrum property management service provider, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the buildings’ facilities and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operates and maintains electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, and other building systems.
  • Performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in common areas and apartments.
  • Troubleshoots equipment issues, manages maintenance inventory, and requests parts or quotations when needed.
  • Oversees fire, safety, and alarm systems, ensuring timely repairs and compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Carries out general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, landscaping, and managing building waste systems.
  • Responds to emergencies, completes snagging reports, maintains the building logbook, and collects utility consumption data.
  • Supervises subcontractors and renovation works, providing detailed before-and-after reports.
  • Works closely with the Property Administrator and maintains good relationships with residents and internal teams.
  • Trains security staff on building systems and coordinates with relevant authorities (e.g., EAC, EOA) on technical issues.
  • Responds to emergency situations (calls or visits) as required for The Icon and other company-managed properties.
  • Maintains a professional appearance, ensures confidentiality, protects company assets, and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other relevant duties as directed by the House Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Diploma from an Accredited Technical/Vocational School.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in technical or maintenance-related work.
  • Solid understanding and experience of plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance tasks; any experience in more complex electromechanical systems and installations will be considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in the safe and effective use of power tools and electrical equipment.
  • Proficiency in Greek and English.
  • Very good computer skills; additional IT competencies will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness and availability to travel between buildings to perform required duties.
