On behalf of our client, a private international school, we are looking for an enthusiastic Maths / Economics Teacher to be based at their school in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Responsibilities and Duties :
- Provides individual and group lessons in Mathematics / Economics
- Supports each student in reaching their full potential — whether that means mastering the curriculum with confidence or preparing for academic competitions and international exams
- Designs engaging lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge curriculum
- Prepares students for IGCSE and other international exams
- Monitors student progress and provides personalized feedback
- Collaborates with other subject teachers and participates in ongoing methodological development
Job Requirements:
- Experience teaching Mathematics / Economics in an international curriculum (preferably with the Cambridge programme)
- Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple and structured way
- Willingness to work both with small groups (up to 15 students) and one-on-one
- Flexibility, open-mindedness, and a creative approach to working with students with varying levels of English proficiency
- Fluent/advanced English + good Russian
- Strong classroom management skills, the ability to engage and inspire students, and a genuine passion for teaching
