On behalf of our client, a specialized IT-consulting firm, we are looking for a Medical & Healthcare Equipment Specialist to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the technical and clinical scoping of healthcare equipment for tenders and client engagements
- Evaluates and documents specifications for medical-grade devices, diagnostics, and biotech solutions
- Liases with vendors, manufacturers, and clinical teams to align solutions with project needs
- Contributes to deliverables such as technical specifications, product catalogues, bills of quantities (BoQs), and compliance documentation
- Provides input on installation, maintenance, and interoperability requirements of healthcare systems
- Assists in market research, price benchmarking, and validation of CE-marked equipment
- Stays current on trends in remote patient monitoring, diagnostic technologies, and biotech-enabled care models
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Life Sciences, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in healthcare equipment planning, biomedical technology, or clinical engineering
- Familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., MDR, CE Marking), HTA requirements, and public procurement processes
- Strong written skills for preparing technical documentation and tender submissions
- English fluency (Greek a plus)
- Strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills and familiarity with tech specs or product comparison formats
- Experience with EU-funded or national healthcare infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with telemedicine kits, portable diagnostics, RPM devices, and integration into HIS/EMR
- Vendor network or past experience working with medical device suppliers
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, interoperability, and medical IT systems
