On behalf of our client, a logistics company, we are looking for an Operations Officer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures proper implementation of the company’s policies and procedures.
- Continuously focuses on the corporate goals and results of “100% customer satisfaction”.
- Monitors progress versus plan.
- Conducts bi-weekly and monthly meetings with the general manager.
- Follows up with the operations and sales teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintains good business relations by ensuring relationships with key accounts.
- Provides direct support to the team for urgent problems that might occur.
- Monitors key accounts.
- Handles operation claims in coordination with the general manager.
- Ensures timely closing of jobs and reporting to the accounting department.
- Builds a good relationship with carriers (air and sea) in coordination with the department managers.
- Monitors rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Executes any other additional tasks required by the management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Transportation and Logistics.
- 3–5 years of experience in the freight forwarding field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented.
