On behalf of our client a software engineering company, we are looking for a Scrum Master to be based in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Coaches the Team in self-management and cross-functionality while removing impediments
- Provides feedback and encourages reflection about how the team is performing
- Collects Agile/Scrum/Team metrics on an ongoing basis
- Responsible for multiple scrum teams at any given time
- Ensures that all Scrum events take place and are positive and productive
- Helps the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the DoD
- Ensures tickets are according to standards and meet the DoR
- Assists the Product Manager with keeping the backlog groomed
- Helps find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
- Produces status reports as required
- Promotes and embed companies’ values in the teams
- Understands and follows company processes with regard to managing the Scrum framework in alignment with the development process, QA process, Release Management, and support.
Job Requirements
- At least 1-year experience as a Scrum Master and in working in an agile environment
- Any relevant University or College Degree in informatics, information technology, project management or comparable qualification
- Certification as a Certified Scrum Master/Scrum Professional will be an advantage
- Knowledge of best practices in software development based on agile methods
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ticketing system knowledge (i.e Jira)
