On behalf of our Client, a service provider specializing in international tax, corporate, trust, and fiduciary services, we are looking for a Senior Corporate Lawyer, to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides legal counseling on Cyprus Company and Corporate Law
- Drafts, reviews and negotiates legal agreements and documents
- Prepares and submits documents to the Cyprus Registrar of Companies
- Ensures compliance with AML legislation and carries out due diligence on clients
- Oversees incorporation processes for Cyprus and foreign companies, maintaining corporate
- governance frameworks
- Leads corporate restructuring initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, with strategic legal input
- Develops legal strategies to support business objectives, participating in strategic planning and cross-departmental collaboration
- Leads and mentors a team of junior lawyers and manages administrative tasks
- Acts as a key legal advisor for clients, providing tailored legal solutions and addressing specific business needs
- Works closely with other departments, such as finance, compliance, and HR, to provide integrated legal support
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Corporate lawyer in a Senior position
- Excellent knowledge of Cyprus Company and Corporate Law
- Ability to be involved in corporate matters and dealing with the administrative aspects of Cypriot and Foreign companies
- Fluent in English and Greek, both written and oral
- Strong organizational and administration skills
- Computer literate
