On behalf of our Client, a leading consulting, technology and outsourcing services company, we are looking for a Senior Financial Software Consultant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in conducting workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather business requirements. Documents and analyzes business processes to understand how they can be mapped to SAP solutions.
- Configure SAP modules according to the specifications and requirements gathered. Assist in customizing the SAP system to fit the specific needs of the business.
- Performs unit testing to ensure individual components and configurations function correctly. Supports integration and user acceptance testing to validate the entire system’s functionality. Documents test cases and results and help troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing.
- Assists in data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Ensure data accuracy and integrity during the migration process.
- Prepares and maintains detailed documentation, including configuration guides, functional specifications, and test plans. Documents any custom developments or enhancements made to the SAP system. Assists in creating training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users.
- Provides post-go-live support to users, helping them navigate and use the SAP system effectively. Responds to user queries and troubleshoot issues, escalating to senior consultants when necessary.
- Supports project management activities by tracking project progress, updating project plans, and coordinating with team members. Participates in project meetings and provide status updates on assigned tasks.
- Stays updated with the latest SAP technologies, modules, and industry trends. Participate in training programs and certifications to enhance SAP knowledge and skills.
- Works closely with senior consultants, developers, and other project team members to ensure successful project delivery. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives.
- Assists in identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues related to SAP configurations, processes, and data. Document issues and solutions for future reference and improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or another related field
- Master’s degree will be considered as an advantage
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar position
- The LCCI Diploma will be considered an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP Technologies, ERP, Business Intelligence systems, Accounting or other Business Software will be considered an advantage
- Fluent in the Greek and English language is required
- Effective communication and business writing skills
