Senior Legal Administrator

On behalf of our client, a broad-spectrum property management service provider, we are looking for a Senior Legal Administrator to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts, reservation agreements, sales and purchase agreements, and documents related to property sales transactions.
  • Drafts, reviews, and negotiates tenancy/lease agreements, license agreements, rental management agreements, home management agreements and other related to property management and rental transactions.
  • Performs KYC checks and screenings on sales/rental clients and manages due diligence process run by associated banks.
  • Leads and supports a team of two, ensuring efficient task delegation and completion.
  • Fosters strong communication with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and rental workflow.
  • Prepares legal reports, memos, and documentation related to real estate matters.
  • Conducts title searches, property due diligence, and liaises with local authorities, banks, and service providers to facilitate sale transactions.
  • Manages the transfer of the separate title deeds of each project to the purchaser.
  • Ensures compliance with local real estate laws and stay up to date on changes in real estate law, market conditions, and industry regulations.
  • Represents the company in legal matters related to property disputes, land use, and regulatory issues.
  • Resolves legal disputes involving property transactions, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Provides legal guidance to other departments regarding property transactions.
  • Participates in the management committees of the projects developed by the company, as requested by the company, and conduct initial Annual General Meetings (AGMs) as part of the developer’s responsibility.
  • Drafts bespoke management regulations for each project developed by the company.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
  • Up to 5 years of experience as a lawyer in the real estate industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cypriot real estate law, property development regulations, management committees, and land registration processes.
  • Proven experience in managing a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Very strong negotiation, drafting, and legal research skills.
  • Ability to handle complex legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
