On behalf of our client, a service provider specializing in international tax, corporate, trust, and fiduciary services, we are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages a variety of corporate legal matters, including oversees the administrative aspects of both Cyprus and international companies and Cyprus International Trusts (CITs)
- Reviews, drafts, and negotiates legal and corporate documentation
- Handles establishment of trusts, company incorporations, corporate governance, and corporate reorganizations and restructurings
- Provides expert legal advice with a strong commercial and business-focused approach
Job Requirements:
- Cyprus Qualified Lawyer with post-qualification experience (PQE) would be considered as a major advantage
- Comprehensive knowledge of Cyprus Company Law, with an understanding of corporate structures is essential
- Knowledge of Cyprus Trust Laws would be considered as an advantage
- Proven experience in corporate legal matters, both within local and international legal frameworks
- Fluency in English and Greek (both written and oral) is essential.
- Strong skills in drafting, organization, and administration
- Ability to work independently as well as within a motivated, high-performing team
- A proactive, business-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in computer and legal office software
