On behalf of our client, a broad-spectrum property management service provider, we are looking for a Site Engineer to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises site work on a daily basis.
- Checks drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Attends site meetings and tracks actions required.
- Liaises with all discipline consultants (Architect-Structural-MEP), contractors, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Prepares detailed variation schedules based on the provided designs.
- Ensures that the project is being executed within the required timeframes, within the required budget, and according to quality standards.
- Does regular health and safety inspections in order to ensure that all the work is being executed as per the H&S plan.
- Participates in the technical administration of the project (Compliance with guidelines and regulations, including permits, safety plans, and public authorities/Delivery of technical files and other technical documentation as required)
- Prepare reports as required by management, verifying monthly evaluations from the main contractor.
- Assists with the material procurement for the project.
- Maintains detailed documentation of all site engineering activities.
- Reports to the project manager and technical director.
- Executes other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Member of ETEK.
- Fluent in Greek and English (spoken and written).
- Strong computer literacy (including excellent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)).
- Experienced with Cad Software.
- Experience in Procurement Procedures will be considered as an advantage.
