Social Media & Community Manager

On behalf of our client, a leading forex company, we are looking for a Social Media & Community Manager  to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as a point of contact for the company’s social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, forums and blogs.
  • Designs and implements successful social, organic and paid strategies that align with our business goals.
  • Works towards specific objectives and report on performance.
  • Generates, edits, publishes and shares engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos and news).
  • Manages the social media editorial calendar and ensures the content is published by the stipulated deadlines.
  • Creats comprehensive reports on overall community sentiment and notable trends and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Collaborates with other internal teams like business developers and customer service to ensure communication and brand consistency.
  • Communicates with followers, respond to comments and queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
  • Uses social listening tools to monitor positive/negative comments and topic trends and strive to boost engagement and resolve any potential conflicts that may affect brand reputation.
  • Suggests and implements new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
  • Stays up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Performs research on current trends and audience preferences.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Marketing/PR or related field
  • At least 3 years of proven working experience as Social Media Manager is a must
  • Extensive knowledge of Facebook Business Manager and Ads manager 
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of social PPC campaigns 
  • Able to influence and engage the audience
