Store Manager

On behalf of our client, a sports retail company, we are looking for a Store Manager to be based at their shop in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the store and its personnel, ensures a smooth operation of the store and a good customer service.
  • Organizes tasks to maximize productivity and avoid burnout.
  • Supervises and mentor staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Holds daily huddle meetings to review progress, address issues, and make adjustments.
  • Provides ongoing support and motivation to the team to achieve sales and performance targets.
  • Takes all actions for achieving the sale objectives required by DM and communicates such objectives to the subordinated personnel.
  • Archives store sales targets and KPIs by implementing sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Monitors sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Creates a welcoming and positive store environment that encourages customer loyalty.
  • Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Ensures that all clients are served in accordance with company’s standards.
  • Receives the products in accordance with the internal regulations and manual, and ensure correct processes are followed.
  • Ensures safety of the merchandise stock, and for the preparation of the legal documents regarding the store merchandise inputs/outputs, such as: invoices, delivery note document, fiscal receipt or other documents required under the law.
  • Develops and maintains an effective store schedule that meets business needs and staffing requirements, while adhering to company policies and procedures, labor laws, and budget constraints.
  • Participates in the inventorying of the merchandise stock whenever necessary.

Main Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail ideally as Store Manager
  • Sales and Customer experience in retail
  • Previous experience in sports shops will be considered as an advantage
  • Fluency in English and Greek
  • Able to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges
  • Open to new ideas and flexible in adjusting plans as needed
  • Attentive to details
  • Ability to handle stress and work under pressure
