On behalf of Azimuth Radio Technologies, we are looking for a Summer Intern to be based at our office in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Technical Purchase order and quotation processing and obtaining additional information as may be required in an efficient and reliable manner.
- Evaluating goods/services quality and pricing.
- Invoicing reconciliation.
- Maintain contact and procurement databases with accurate records in accordance with the company’s standards.
- Tracking and monitoring of orders, deliveries and invoices.
- Addressing potential discrepancies.
- Scanning, electronic data recording and emailing.
- Co-ordinates and follows up on ordered deliveries of services and ships’ spares, to ensure on-time dispatch to the correct destination in the most cost-efficient and effective manner.
- Inform clients and suppliers of delivery details and any additional arrangements.
- Maintains supplier performance records.
- Other duties as assigned, e.g., invitation and preparation of tenders/fleet scope, project tenders for retrofits, handling of guarantee claims, and suppliers.
- Support the procurement team in their operational efficiency.
- Help organize meetings, manage correspondence, and digitalize paperwork.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelors / Master’s degree in Maritime Studies, Purchasing and Supply Management, or other equivalent fields of study.
- Strong eagerness to learn and work within a company’s Purchasing Department.
- Proficient analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Critical thinker.
- Excellent command of the English language and overall strong communication skills.
- Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
