Tax Assistant

On behalf of our client, a leading network of accountancy and consulting firms, we are looking for a Tax Assistant to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completes and submits tax returns for companies and individuals.
  • Regularly reports to the Tax Director about the status, progress, and completion of work.
  • Deals with various tax matters, including the calculation of provisional taxes, deemed dividends, VAT registrations, and deregistrations.
  • Completes and submits VAT returns on a quarterly basis.
  • Ensures that all payments related to taxes and VAT are carried out on time.
  • Completes and submits VIES on a monthly basis.

Job Requirements 

  • University degree with a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent, preferably with an accounting/audit background.
  • Previous experience in relevant field will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both in verbal and written.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Pleasant personality, professionalism and able to work under strict reporting deadlines.
