Technical Field Support Specialist

On behalf of our client , IT solution provider , we are looking for a Technical Field Support Specialist , to be based in Limassol , Cyprus. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Manages hands-on support for the installation, configuration, and regular maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues related to end-user applications, network connectivity, and IT equipment.
  • Provides high-quality technical support to end-users, promptly and effectively addressing their everyday IT challenges.
  • Administers user accounts and permissions in compliance with internal security and data protection policies.
  • Oversees the inventory of IT assets, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition and properly accounted for.
  • Collaborates closely with the HQ technical team to identify, escalate, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stays updated with emerging IT trends, tools, and best practices to provide cutting-edge solutions to the organization’s needs.
  • Documents all technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions to contribute to the internal knowledge base.
  • Participates in IT projects and upgrades to bolster the organization’s continuous improvement efforts.

Job Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • A comprehensive understanding of computer systems, networking concepts, software applications, and hardware support.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues swiftly within a dynamic environment.
  • A customer-centric approach with a proactive attitude towards technical problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the aptitude to articulate complex technical issues in simple, understandable terms.
  • The ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with team members and stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT support role, emphasizing end-support and system administration.
  • Practical experience with network troubleshooting, server management, and security protocols.
  • The ability to function autonomously as well as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management and support ticketing systems.
  • Flexibility to travel between Limassol and Larnaca offices once a week.
