On behalf of our client, an importer and trader of building materials, we are looking for a Technical Operations Manager to be based at their offices in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes cost estimates from different vendors, identifying advantages and disadvantages, and offering recommendations
- Verifies and approves measurements recorded on-site by suppliers, main contractors, and subcontractors
- Schedules and coordinates specific tasks to align with the contractor’s project timeline
- Communicates with clients and the contractor regarding client-specific finish choices
- Examines finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Provides technical support to clients regarding construction processes and property-specific concerns
- Captures visual documentation of construction progress and generating project status reports as needed
- Monitors and completes all necessary government procedures and issue title deeds
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical operations, project management, or construction within the real estate or construction industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage contractors, vendors, and on-site teams effectively
- Ability to liaise with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve technical challenges
