Technical Support Specialist

On behalf of our Client, an international banking software company, we are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to be based at their offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicates with clients to quickly get to the route of the problem
  • Troubleshoots technical issues
  • Talks to customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem
  • Assists customers with integrations and migration
  • Provides support in the form of procedural documentation
  • Tests and evaluates new implementations and technologies
  • Deals with customer’s tickets at the service desk according to their procedures

Main Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or similar role will be considered an advantage
  • Previous experience in Banking, Payments, Insurance, or Telecom Industries
  • Experience in HTML, ASP, C#, JavaScript, Python, and Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS).
  • Experience in any Relational Database Management, ANSI SQL and/or T-SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio development environment, PowerShell.
  • Excellent written and verbal English 
  • Attention to detail, strong problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
