On behalf of our client, an established group of companies in real estate advisory and asset management, we are looking for a Valuer to be based at their offices in Athens, Greece.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively participates in real estate valuations and assist in all underwriting projects in Greece
- Carries out on-site inspections of properties
- Assists portfolio reviews and asset due diligence investigations
- Liaises and coordinates with other teams internally for the execution of actions, as part of the agreed asset action plans, and/or the asset disposal team to ensure the assets are placed in the market
- Collects real estate data, information, and statistics to help formulate and provide relevant and periodic reports
- Gathers and processes available transaction data in order to carry out desktop valuations
- Scrutinizes the property market and identifies trends affecting assigned real estate assets and develop recommendations
- Reviews and assesses valuations and their underlying assumptions and flag discrepancies
- Prepares detailed projections of returns of various scenarios to assess real estate projects business plans
- Performs a wide variety of analysis, valuation audits, valuation reviews for collateral and financial reporting purposes
Job Requirements
- BA/MSc in Finance, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, or any other related field
- Any relevant previous experience will be considered an advantage
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both verbal and written
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office
- Good understanding of the local property market
